Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 10 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Easy Oz website at easyoz.com.au and the education consulting services we provide. By using our website, contacting us or booking a consultation, you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

Easy Oz is the trading name of Easy Oz Pty Ltd (ABN 96 642 651 394), an education consultancy based in Perth, Western Australia. We help people in Australia and overseas understand study options, courses and education providers as part of their longer-term plans in Australia.

We are not registered migration agents. We do not provide migration assistance or immigration legal advice within the meaning of the Migration Act 1958 (Cth). Any information about visas on this website or in our consultations is general in nature. Where your situation requires migration advice, we will refer you to a registered migration agent (MARA), or you can find one on the official register at mara.gov.au or at mia.org.au.

2. Our services

Our services include:

  • free strategy chats and paid strategy consultations, booked through our website;
  • guidance on study pathways, courses, education providers and the practical steps involved;
  • introductions to education providers and, where you ask us to, assistance with enquiries or applications;
  • referrals to registered migration agents and, where relevant, help arranging Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).

The specific scope of any paid service is the one described on the booking page at the time you book, or otherwise agreed with you in writing.

3. General information only — no guarantees

Information on this website, in our social media content and in our consultations is general in nature and is based on the information you give us and on publicly available information at the time. It is not legal, financial, tax or migration advice and does not take into account all of your individual circumstances.

Study and visa requirements change frequently. You must verify current requirements directly with the relevant education provider, the Department of Home Affairs and, where appropriate, a registered migration agent before making decisions.

We do not guarantee admission to any course or institution, the grant or extension of any visa, the outcome of any application, employment, or any migration, residency or citizenship outcome. Decisions about your study, work and visa are yours alone.

4. Bookings, fees and payment

  • Consultations are booked through our online booking tool (Calendly). The fee, duration and format of each paid consultation are shown on the booking page before you confirm.
  • Fees are in Australian dollars (AUD) and, unless stated otherwise, include GST where applicable.
  • Payment for paid consultations is made at the time of booking, unless the booking page states otherwise.
  • You can reschedule or cancel a consultation at no charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations with less notice, or not attending a booked consultation, may result in the fee being forfeited, unless there are exceptional circumstances or the law requires otherwise.
  • If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will offer you a new time or a full refund.

5. Refunds and consumer guarantees

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms limits those guarantees. If a paid service is not delivered with due care and skill or is not fit for its purpose, you may be entitled to a remedy, including a refund or the service being provided again.

Apart from your rights under the law and the cancellation terms above, fees for consultations that have already been delivered are not refundable merely because you are not satisfied with the options available for your situation or with the outcome of a decision you make.

6. Your responsibilities

When using our services you agree to:

  • provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information about your situation, including your visa status and any conditions attached to it;
  • remain responsible for your own visa conditions, deadlines and obligations to the Department of Home Affairs;
  • attend booked consultations on time and with the information needed;
  • make your own decisions and, where necessary, seek independent professional advice;
  • not use our services or website for any unlawful purpose.

7. Education providers and commissions

Where you enrol with an education provider that we have introduced you to, we may receive a commission or referral fee from that provider. This does not increase the price you pay. Our recommendations are based on what we consider suits your situation, and if you ask we will tell you whether we have a commercial relationship with a particular provider.

Any contract for a course is between you and the education provider, and the provider's own terms, fees and refund policy apply to it.

8. Third-party services and links

Our website uses third-party services, including a booking tool (Calendly), and links to social media platforms and external sites such as the Department of Home Affairs, education providers and migration-agent registers. We do not control those services or sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or terms. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, graphics, logos, images, pathway guides and other materials — is owned by or licensed to Easy Oz and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view, download and print content for your personal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

10. Acceptable use of the website

You must not:

  • interfere with the operation or security of the website;
  • use automated tools to copy or scrape content, other than search engines indexing public pages;
  • submit false or misleading information through our forms or booking tools;
  • use the website in breach of any applicable law.

11. Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law:

  • our liability for any breach of a consumer guarantee in relation to our services is limited, at our option, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again;
  • we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, for loss of opportunity or income, or for the costs of any course, visa application, travel or relocation arising from your use of the website or our services;
  • we are not liable for decisions made by education providers, the Department of Home Affairs or any other third party, or for changes to laws, policies, course availability or fees.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under law that cannot be excluded.

13. Complaints and disputes

If you have a concern about our services, please contact us first at hello@easyoz.com.au. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and try to resolve it with you in good faith. If we cannot resolve it, you may seek assistance from Consumer Protection WA or any other body with jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available at https://easyoz.com.au/en/terms, and the date at the top shows when it was last changed. Changes apply from the time they are published, and continuing to use the website or our services after that means you accept the updated Terms. The Terms in force when you book a paid service apply to that booking.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.

These Terms are also available in Italian for convenience. If there is any inconsistency between the two versions, the English version prevails.
